Cyberlaw Asia is engaged in the process of creating greater awareness about Cyberlaws in different countries of Asia 3..Pavan Duggal has been selected as one of the ISOC WSIS Ambassadors by the Internet Society. He attended the WSIS PrepCom 3 meeting in Geneva in September 2003. 4.He is a member of UNCEFACT Legal Group. 5.Pavan has been associated with UNESCO on Ethical, Legal, and Societal Challenges of Cyberspace in Asia and the Pacific. 6.Pavan Duggal has been a member of the ICANN Nominating Committee representing the Asia Pacific region, 2003 and 2004. 7.Pavan has been a Member of Membership Advisory Committee of The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).He is also member of the Membership Implementation Task Force (MITF) of ICANN,) and is involved in the legal issues of At Large Membership of this global body. 8.He is an Expert on the Board of Experts of European Commission’s Dr. E-Commerce. 9.Pavan Duggal has been the Member of the Public Interest Registry’s. Org Advisory Council.He has been the Vice Chair of the Policy Committee of the .Org Advisory Council. Pavan was actively associated as a consultant with Public Interest Registry in its .ORG campaign in India. 10.He is a member of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Centre Panel of Neutrals. He has taken an active part in the regional deliberations at Hyderabad relating to the Domain Names Policy formulation undertaken by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). |
